What to Eat - Production Schedule

Season 1, being shot now - national in scope covering the full spectrum of healthy foods along with a rich diversity of people and geography. 

Segment Sampling

  • Bison - 1000 acre ranch in western USA

  • Cheese - 3rd generation swiss family creamery run by three sisters

  • Bread -  artisan multigrain stone ground sourdough

  • Veggies - a certified organic farm run by lesbian couple

  • Avocados - in orchard interview with expert on healthy fats

  • Beef - grass fed, university extension program

  • Sweet potatoes - African American football player turned farmer

  • Apples - 3rd generation orchard, 85yr old matriarch

  • Pecans - groves of 150 year old trees that native americans ate from

  • Black Beans - variety of heirloom varieties
